My research interests
I am a behavioral ecologist interested in understanding how environmental fluctuations challenge individuals' behavior, the evolution of signals and communication.
Especially in unpredictable environments like deserts, these challenges might represent a strong selective pressure.

During my PhD, I have identified some of the challenges following a PIT-tagged population of zebra finches in the unpredictable and harsh arid Australia.

I am also interested in the use of both ecological surveys and remote sensing, at the scale relevant to the study species, to identify the possible challenges the individuals have to face, across the landscape and over time.
